Paralympian Dax Adam

Dax & Rose in Athens, 2004

Dax felt a strong connection from the first moment he was mounted on a horse.

Dax Adam was born in Scarborough, Ontario Canada. He arrived 16 weeks premature, and complications at birth led to Dax being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He was given a very small chance of living and doctors said he would never walk. But at the age of four, he took his first steps.

Introduced to horses and riding at the recommendation of his physiotherapists. At the early age of eight it was Dax's goal to represent Canada at the Paralympics.
